Must be able to sustain SAS and bash code in a multi-server Linux environment, pull daily data extracts from sources that support AMCOM ALC Supply Chain initiatives, resolves issues with SAS Production environment to ensure maximum service uptime and review error logs and monitor daily processes required to identify root causes affecting the middleware process.
Other duties include developing and evaluating new data or report requests, writing datasets to MS Excel, conduct analysis and interpretation of both qualitative and quantitative data from outside data sources to validate that LMP data is correct and implement new SAS techniques to reduce
I/O and processing time on processes to reduce run times. Web Desk work currently: Extracting LMP files for daily uploads that updates oracle tables for webdesk Converting SAS reports and data feeds to LMP Maintaining the SAS code and Linux bash scripts ILTMARS work currently: Migrating old SAS code using Oracle to use their new SQL Server tables and new field names Converting old SAS to be efficient and reduce I/O, more readability, and centralized Migrating old SAS code to run on Store Procedures vs using CGI Broker due to STIG rule in place Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) SAS Programming versions 9.3/9.4 SAS Enterprise Guide 8.3 ANSI SQL Linux command line and bash/ksh scripting
