looking for a self-starter with excellent people skills to assist in identifying customer needs and challenges and developing potential solutions. Specifically, as a System Engineer, the candidate will be expected to implement solutions across multiple digital engineering tools such as Cameo/Magic Draw and IBM DOORS, collaborate with team members of other disciplines to facilitate cohesive system solutions, interact with customers during collaboration discussions and review meetings, and engage with suppliers and vendors to acquire contract resources.
The candidate will support the customer in Huntsville, Alabama. Most of the work will be performed in a hybrid at-home/in-office environment,
but may also include time at Government facilities, integration laboratories, and hypersonic test facilities.
Travel Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of system architectures, requirements, and specifications. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure system design meets customer needs and requirements. Conduct analysis of system performance and provide recommendations for improvements. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation. Participate in design reviews and testing activities. Basic Qualifications: Strong understanding of the systems engineering process and related principles Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.
g. Cameo/Magic Draw, Rhapsody, etc. ) Comprehension of a variety of engineering disciplines to support system level discussions and impacts Knowledge of defense industry standards and practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
