Introduction: The Network Administrator will manage, install, maintain, and monitor all network, server, storage, and security infrastructure. This position will work with the Information Technology Director, office managers, and end-users to provide support, diagnose issues, and provide guidance concerning the capabilities of our network. infrastructure's security, reliability, availability, and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage Heyl Royster's enterprise network infrastructure, including router, switch, firewall, SD-WAN, load balancers, and Wireless LAN. Manage our corporate network design, including EPL, DIA, and Internet circuits. Manage our Vo IP phone system and SIP Trunks. Manage all levels of network security, including endpoint protection, spam filtering, web filtering, firewalls, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, VPN, vulnerability scanning, and logging. Manage, monitor, and maintain equipment in data centers. Manage internet DNS, internet domains, and certificates.
Manage corporate-wide mobile phone plans and procedures. Support tier 2 and tier 3 escalation incidents from our help desk. Support our overall Windows Server Domain design, maintenance, and support, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File and Print servers, and DFSR. Support all cloud services related to authentication and email. Support our physical server, virtualization, and storage infrastructure. Assist when needed with our backup and recovery processes, procedures, and systems. Maintain excellent documentation and SOP's Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with a technology focus is strongly preferred but not required.
3-10+ years of network, phone, email, and server support experience. Cisco CCNA or other network-related certifications are preferred. Experience working in a team environment is a plus. Project Management knowledge and experience are a plus. Business Skills: Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Communicate with customers through various channels. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Planning and scheduling capabilities.
Proven success in troubleshooting, problem management, and root cause analysis. Ability to learn and understand business processes and requirements Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Networking Environments, including but not limited to Active Directory, Desktop, and Server OS. Proficiency within Microsoft Networking Environments from a Client/Server perspective. Proficient in implementing and supporting routers, switches, wireless access points, VOIP phones, and unified communications. Proficiency in supporting firewalls, internet connectivity, WAN, and SD-WAN networks are preferred.
Familiar with deploying enterprise-wide Wi-Fi networks. Familiar with using enterprise Service Desk/ Helpdesk ticketing systems. Familiar with hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, etc. Familiar with mobile OS platforms such as Android and IOS. Familiar with virtual technologies. Familiar with the different areas of security, such as network access, web/spam filtering, camera systems, SEIM, and card access, are a plus. Familiarity with supporting document management systems is a plus. Familiar with supporting law firm systems such as back office, billing, accounting, etc.
