and help them grow in their careers. The Electrical Test Engineer will support the JETS II contract supporting NASA's pursuits in deep space exploration. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with multiple organizations to achieve a successful qualification test for NASA Flight Hardware.

Draft test plans and procedures for the operation of test articles. Design and build ground support equipment (GSE) to support testing efforts. Work alongside facility personnel during system assembly and test operations. Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of test results and summarized them in a post-test report. Perform failure troubleshooting and resolution as needed. Generate essential

paperwork and documents for tasks assigned. Work in a team environment and report to a project lead/manager to provide status on progress and issues and for support.

Perform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructions. Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED: This position has been posted at multiple levels. in a related area. Able to manage complex technical tests requiring the coordination of several specialized disciplines.

Experience with the design, assembly, test, and operation of space flight hardware. Experience working in lab and office environments. Basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, such as electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, material selection, design software and tools, and office software. Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings. Must have the ability to visualize and work with complex electrical systems and work with others in problem-solving as part of a team.

Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision. DESIRED: Familiarity with common hand tools and proficiency in using them to perform assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems. Familiar with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures. Familiarity with the Engineering Life Cycle process. WORK LOCATION: This position offers a 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off. STANDARD BASTION REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED: All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process.
