YOUR LIFE AS AN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING DRAFTER This full-time construction drafting position with our sustainable technology company works during business hours. As an Industrial Manufacturing Drafter with our technology company, you play a crucial role in making detailed engineering drawings, specifying design dimensions, and constructing models of mechanical parts and devices. You also prepare blueprints as well as advise on construction methods and materials to improve existing procedures.
Under the direction of the project manager, you participate in project reviews and meetings, ensuring proper project execution. You keep track of schedules to make sure project components are completed fully and on time. Additionally, you create and revise drawings for plants and equipment as well as technical information sheets. As needed, you perform systems, applications, and products (SAP) work, such as creating and revising bills of materials and item creation. You're always willing to try new things and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
You enjoy having a job that uses your mechanical expertise in manufacturing and drafting, and it encourages you to put forth your best effort each day! WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS AN INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING DRAFTER High school diploma 2+ years of experience or training in an industrial manufacturing environment Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to read and create isometric and perspective drawings A technical diploma or degree from an accredited institution in mechanical drafting, electrical or automation engineering, or a related field is preferred.
