a new early integration and development testing Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) lab for the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system. The successful candidate will work with the chief architect, cybersecurity team, system administrators, network engineers, test engineers, and domain engineers to construct a new software and hardware integration lab.
The system administrator will help to build, configure, and maintain lab systems. The system administrator will help place equipment in the lab spaces, establish connectivity for interface testing, install and configure software, and perform system- and component-level troubleshooting. Responsibilities Include: Creation and maintenance of user
accounts. Hardware repair/replacement and software and firmware upgrades. Assist with creation of artifacts to obtain authority to operate the lab. May occasionally be required to work extended and/or off-nominal hours.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor's degree. Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience performing typical system administration duties and responsibilities. Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems. Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the implementation and test teams. Must have active
Comp TIA Security+ Certification with CE. Special Skills Desired: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
