ESSENTIAL DUTIES Provides excellent service to internal and external members/customers through safe, quality workmanship and expert technical assistance. Deliver excellent customer service in all areas of responsibility. Communicates effectively with users of IT services to assure their needs are met and the quality of the service meets or exceeds expectations. Meet with stakeholders to understand business challenges. Using low code platforms,
such as Decisions, collect data using forms, built out datasets and design and implement custom applications that meet these challenges. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, write code to assist in data analysis and make predictions based on data trends.
Using business intelligence and analytics software such as Tableau to build out tools for assisting employees to understand and solve problems. Filter and " clean" data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems. Develop alerts to monitor data health and notify users on emerging events. Integrate data and applications together using APIs , database connections,
and web services. Datasets include but are not limited to financial, meter, geospatial, engineering, electrical, member and customer data.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Query data from existing databases, build out new datasets, and maintain existing databases. Use database platforms such as Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres and My SQL. Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects. Address all software interface issues in a timely manner, to ensure data integrity and system availability. Handles data using security best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/CLASSIFICATIONS Education : An associate's degree in GIS emphasizing software programming is required while a bachelor's degree is highly preferred. Experience : Must possess a minimum of five years of experience operating and maintaining a GIS system and be able to utilize the Auto Cad and ESRI software systems. Experience in electric utility construction highly preferred. Job Knowledge and Skills : Skills in Auto Cad and ESRI setup, keyboard commands, pull-down menus and creating, then extracting attribute information is a requirement as are skills in maintaining and developing Arc GIS Online applications.
A working knowledge of distribution/ transmission power systems is highly desired. Must be familiar with capacity and other characteristics of electrical systems, PC based software applications, automated mapping, staking, engineering analysis and GPS systems.
