Systems Administrator: I have an Associate's Degree in a field related to computer science, information technology, software engineering, computer networking, and/or cybersecurity.
I have 3 years of professional IT technical experience. I have 1 - 2 years of experience with managing virtual servers. I have 1 plus year of experience with VNWare (preferred). I am proficient with DNS, Windows Group Policy and Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange (Office 365), Windows 2012/2016, Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
products. I have a MCSA certification (preferred). Responsibilities for an I. T. Systems Administrator: Establishes, administer, maintains and upgrades infrastructure by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information and security requirements.
Monitors computer systems and servers for viruses, malfunctions, and errors including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency: maintains infrastructure performance by performing infrastructure monitoring and analysis and performance tuning. Defining infrastructure policies and procedures. Maintains documentation of security, access controls, networks and systems. Install new existing network and server hardware, services,
applications, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Apply patches and upgrades as needed according to policy. Configure/add new services as needed. Maintain and manage hardware/software inventories, including mobile devices. Implement new services, migrate services from on-prem to cloud, and help develop cloud design and implementation best practices. Provide support and hands on help during a cloud migration and day to day azure operations. Install, configure, deploy, and support new Intune servers and infrastructure including Azure resources and Azure Active Directory. Manage, administer, and troubleshoot mobile devices/users using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
Work on the new implementation of Microsoft Modern desktop which includes managing devices using Intune (Windows 10 and apple devices). Implementation of a business store, migration from GPOs with ADMZ to CSP setting and autopilot implementation. Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure. Implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies for different IT systems and UMC environments. Facilitate end-users in accessing datat that may have been deleted or unavailable.
