and critical thinking skills Keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills The IT Specialist's primary purpose is to manage, troubleshoot and monitor operating systems, documents and database servers for Premier One Credit Union. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the system resources dedicated to supporting office automation, PCs and end-user equipment, and database administration and to respond to hardware problems, update system software and track the data and communications on the network.
Essential functions include: Perform system administration by performing hardware and software updates, upgrades, maintenance and configurations. Maintain
system security along with patch management and system log reviews. Provide first level technical support on hardware and software through the ticketing system, email and phone.
Research, modify, test, and install hardware and software on workstations. Data processing including but not limited to ACH, Share Draft and loan payment transfers. Processing various reports and files. Perform after hours month end data processing. Work with Human Resources to maintain, add, remove and update system access for employees. Education and Qualifications: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. A bachelor's degree or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry
as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e. g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
