The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The selected candidate will perform Systems Engineering functions such as requirements decomposition and interface definition.
This team follows an Agile framework using Jira and Confluence to manage their backlog and document progress. Job Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness
analyses for total systems Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited university with 2 years of related experience or a Master's Degree with 0 years of experience Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The candidate should have a general understanding of
the Systems Engineering 'V' and be capable of performing engineering analysis, requirements allocation, requirements decomposition with supervision from a senior engineer Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed Self-motivated and customer-oriented Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Prior experience working on Missile Defense programs Prior experience working using DOORS Familiar with Agile terminology and best practices Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo Familiar with automated software requirements testing and analysis Familiar with Software Containerization and Orchestration Familiar with Dev Sec Ops and Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation Security Clearance Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum Do D SECRET level security clearance.
