with skills at the mid-level. Program Overview: In support of the US Space Force, the BOS-IT contract encompasses all services required to support the operation, maintenance, and logistics of the PSFB and SSFB Installation Base Operating Support Information Technology (BOS-IT) systems.

This effort includes the ability to provide support to various PSFB and SSFB Installation information and communications systems and associated tenant organizations. ASRC Federal Communications will provide non-personal services in support of operations, maintenance, logistics management, testing and all other requirements within the BOS-IT Performance Work Statement (PWS). Support includes potential future

requirements, emerging technologies, system growth, and new/upgraded equipment as needed. Designs and plans network systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

Provides specific, detailed information for technology selection, implementation, and deployment, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network systems. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, etc. Prepares appropriate network documentation, including

operational instructions. Evaluates and reports on new network technologies, to enhance capabilities of the network.

May require knowledge of network topography for cloud integration. May implement applications of machine to machine (M2M) communication to enhance the efficiency and security of the organization's operations. Key Role Under broad direction, provides technical leadership in planning, investigating, designing, and implementing physical and logical communications solutions with network-wide impact. Provides solutions that incorporate integration of digital encoding formats, line codes, and timing concepts across engineering disciplines and environments.

Influences team members, the customer, and vendors to define, analyze, and provide solutions for the customer’s voice, data, and image communications requirements. Prepares complex workprints and schematics to define and illustrate entire network structures and solutions. Identifies and recommends new design tools for use in communications projects. Evaluate projected corporate network usage and provide and implement media solutions. Participates in and influences marketing proposals and studies by providing costing models, reports, and technical solutions for network-wide projects.

Identifies product modifications and influences vendors to incorporate these changes into their products. Plans, designs, and implements network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure the performance of multiple communication networks. Identifies, analyzes, and recommends new network administrative systems for entire networks to ensure accurate network inventory and timely implementation. Duties Perform operations and system administration services for communications system technical support, architecture design, and troubleshooting. Perform Network Monitoring, Performance, and Trend Analysis Services.

Monitor LAN and WAN system performance, perform trend analysis, and report results using government-provided software. Perform Software Configuration Management to include reports on the licensing of all Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software installed on Schriever SFB administrative networks and stand-alone computers. Manage connections to external communications-computer networks as determined by the Government. Monitoring and resolving communication traffic problems, coordinating with external control agencies for upgrades and changes, and implementing or coordinating necessary configuration changes to ensure compatibility.

Ensure all networks are free of unauthorized access, viruses, and information beyond the classification level of the network and mitigate these threats to network integrity. Responsible for the security of the SSFB networks, that the network security policy complies with higher-level policies and that all users adhere to directives, regulations, and network security policy. Conduct security-scanning operations and support stand-alone system security as required. The contractor shall implement, monitor, and enforce approved Designated Approval Authority (DAA) policies, identify and report security incidents, and ensure identified systems vulnerabilities are appropriately remedied or mitigated.

The contractor shall ensure the Schriever SFB administrative LANs have at least one TS/SCI system administrator available. The contractor shall be responsible for Vulnerability Management of the SSFB networks. Address vulnerabilities discovered via Assured Compliance backssment Solution (ACAS), which analyzes a computer system in search of known vulnerabilities. i. e. open ports, insecure software, and susceptibility to malware infections.

Correct vulnerabilities, installation of a patch, a change in network policy, or reconfiguration of software. Disseminate Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO). Provide Notice to Airman (NOTAM) and Maintenance Tasking Order (MTO) as required. Perform sustainment and coordinate technical refresh installations and equipment replacements of SIPRNet, and NIPRNet. Perform site surveys, equipment configuration, accreditation, equipment installation, equipment testing, and cutovers & integration of the equipment into the NIPR/SIPR networks. Recommend to the Government, the priority of equipment replacement.
