The Technician, Quality Assurance is responsible for performing basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet our quality standards. The position is dynamic,
with day-to-day tasks changing to meet the needs of our sales, distribution, and production facilities in Bartlett, Tennessee. The Technician, Quality Assurance works as a member of the Quality Assurance team, under the direction of the Quality Team Leader and in coordination with Quality Inspectors.
Inspection Planning Monitor inspection procedures and processes to ensure inspections performed are done according to item specifications, protocols, and standard methods Calibration of production tools & equipment Documentation Planning Complete documentation necessary for the support of Inspection procedures, including inventory holds, supplier and non-supplier corrective actions, defect
investigation and rework processes. Manage documentation as needed to maintain departmental ISO 9001 certification.
Inspections & Testing Conduct analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods and environmental samples, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications. Support Quality Inspectors in completion of inspections and audits. Defect Control Assist Quality Supervisor and Quality Engineer in making decisions on defects, mitigating defect impact and conducting the corrective actions process. Manage and track material samples in support of Supplier Corrective Actions Qualifications High School Diploma (or G. E.
D. ) 3+ plus years Quality Assurance experience participating in inspections, audits, and assisting with Corrective and Preventative Activities. 1+ year Familiarity with SAP-S4 - Quality Management and Material Management, along with Inspection Planning in SAP ASQ Certified Quality Technician (Preferred) Experience working with quality management systems (QCBD or SAP) (Preferred) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Team focused attitude with the ability to interact with various types of people in various settings Strong attention to detail --- What We Offer Our Employees We offer an above-market benefits package that includes a choice of Health Insurance plans (including Dental and Vision Insurance), a generous 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), and more!
