We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated IT Product Owner within our Data Integration and Automation group! The Product Owner for Business Technology (Enterprise IT) Data Platforms will lead the implementation of Salesforce's internal Data and AI platforms. This role will own defining and driving the
implementation strategy, ensuring our Data and AI platform meets internal customer needs, and drives value generation using Salesforce's AI technologies. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, infrastructure, data management and data science to drive this implementation.
This is an office-flexible role for Dallas, Texas. In office expectations are at least 15 days a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams. This is not a remote opportunity. Responsibilities: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team and stakeholders Ensure the Product meets Salesforce's standards for Trust,
Operational Excellence and Governance Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and business objectives Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear and detailed understanding of customer needs Create clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide development teams in building high-quality products Plan and coordinate product releases and go to market strategies taking into account dependencies, timelines, and business priorities Conduct regular product demos to showcase progress and gather feedback from stakeholders Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback, and incorporating it into the product development process Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful delivery of products on time and within budget Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product Develop and maintain a comprehensive customer documentation for product features, operations and governance procedures Drive the customer zero relationship with Salesforce's Data Cloud, Tableau, Mulesoft and Einstein GPT product teams Required Qualifications: Experience implementing Enterprise grade AI Platforms and Machine learning technologies Deep understanding of Data, Analytics and Reporting platform setup Proven track record as a successful Product Owner Knowledge of Dev Ops and software development life cycle for machine-learned products and platform services Strong experience delivering in Agile Methodologies Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in the field of Data, Analytics and Platform management Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem and Einstein is highly preferred Generative AI product implementation experience/ LLM implementation a plus Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.
