System Engineer to join our client's team in Huntsville, Alabama within PEO Aviation. DUTIES Serve as senior systems engineer providing technical support to APEO E&A and multiple Aviation Platform offices. Establish standards, policies, and processes for all Systems Engineering activities including risk, configuration management, PLM, requirements management, traceability, and design reviews.
Support and lead system-level trade studies and analyses. Support the development of and review of Systems Engineering and program milestone documentation. Support major design reviews. Ensure high HQ policies and guidance are incorporated into PEO AVN. Work with platforms to backss program/project
technical risks and develop mitigation strategies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years experience in systems engineering related to the traditional " V" activities ( To obtain the maximum salary of $136K offered for this position, a candidate must have a BS with 14 years of experience OR MS with 12 years of experience) Understanding of MBSE, Model-based systems engineering.
The incumbent will be expected to assist in the review of Systems Engineering artifacts related to Milestone reviews such as SFR, SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR. The incumbent will create and/or review Systems Engineering plans for the enterprise-related efforts and generate policy for implementation. Tools: DOORS,
requisite pro, cameo Architect, etc. Experience with the Airworthiness process, AQP, AQS, and AWR.
Platforms include enduring and future fleet. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Architecture physical and logical experience is a plus! HW and SW experience with major weapons systems is a plus.
