UCLA Strategic Communications increases awareness, understanding, and support of UCLA's vision, mission, and accomplishments among its many constituencies. A major focus of this department is formulating and implementing strategic communications initiatives, plans, and events. The UCLA Strat Comm, Strategic Insights
team leads market research analytics and reporting within UCLA Strategic Communications. The Strategic Insights team uses primary and secondary analytical methods and research software to measure marketing and communications effectiveness, create benchmark values for PR, Communications, Issues, and Crisis management, and track various media and Experimental events' activations.
Use various research techniques and vendors to measure and capture trends in the educational brand landscape. Measure and quantify volume and trends for various digital properties for leading UCLA branded websites and Apps, formulate KPIs, design measurement, and lead content analytics for UCLA's owned social media
channels. We enable key stakeholders with strategic insights and recommendations to support their decision-making and brand growth.
Under the direction of the Chief of Strategic Insights, the Manager of Strategic Insights will be responsible for measuring various marketing campaigns, designing research surveys, analyzing and summarizing data using various survey platforms, and managing methodology for various secondary and primary research tools. The role will measure and analyze key communication and media campaigns across the UCLA Strategic Communication media teams. The Manager will design and generate market research presentations in various Google and Microsoft programs.
Support email service provider database list management using best practices. Develop backend integration, web services, dashboarding, lead management (acquisition, scoring, and dissemination), Privacy Law rule integration, and best practices. This role will also develop productive working relationships with staff, senior administrators, and University constituents that build confidence that the reporting process is accurate and that best practices are implemented. Duties are performed onsite during normal office working hours with the possibility of a Flex Work schedule.
Working hours may include weekends, evenings, and holidays and require light travel.
