What’s the OPPORTUNITY? – Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Information Technology The AVP of Information Technology plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the technological operations of a credit union.

This position will lead a team of IT professionals and be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all information systems, infrastructure, and technology solutions. The AVP of Information Technology will collaborate with senior management to

align technology initiatives with the overall strategic goals of the credit union. This position is responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy in alignment with the credit union’s short-term and long-term business goals; overseeing the design, implementation and maintenance of the credit union’s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and telecommunications systems; developing and implementing comprehensive security measures to safeguard member data, confidential information, and digital assets; collaborating with cross-functional teams to define IT project scope, deliverables, and timelines; and managing relationships with technology vendors and service

providers, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.

The minimum qualifications for the AVP of Information Technology position are: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the financial services or credit union industry. Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and telecommunications systems. Proven experience in information security management and risk backssment. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
