Qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE : Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; Ph D and 0 years related experience; Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar degree; additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Current Security+ or ability to obtain within 6 months. Hands-on operational experience with enterprise scale networks.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving network issues Experience with monitoring, alerting, management, and control tools. Experience navigating and understanding network topologies, creating, and updating network documentation. Experience translating network design documents into operational networks. Ability to understand switched and routed network designs including firewall configurations and integration. Experience with system backup and restore. Candidate must be a US Citizen. Candidate must currently possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE : Experience with Do D accreditation processes: DIACAP and RMF. VMWare Certified Professional. Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checks. Experience with network compliance using NETSEC directives (IAVA, IAVM) Excellent Communications Skills. Ability to establish and document equipment configurations in support of operational requirements.
