The PNT SE&I Team provides Space Systems Command (SSC) specialized engineering, analysis, planning and execution in support of Global Positioning System (GPS) Programs of Record (Po Rs) and the PNT Enterprise. Major duties of this position include: · Performs systems engineering analyses, technical reviews, and backssments; coordinates analyses efforts, methods, and techniques; develop products and briefings; and performs technical engagement with, and briefings for and to, government customers and stakeholders Identify derived requirements from government specifications and interface control documents, operations documents, and assisting with translating requirements into digestible information
useable by 2SOPS engineering Supports 2SOPS Engineering in defining, capturing, and maintaining the technical, schedule, and cost risks throughout the system lifecycle and developing risk mitigation courses of action and backssing impacts of risks and proposed changes Maintains control of and provides engineering recommendations to the government on all operations projects/studies/tests from inception through completion · Supports creating and maintaining squadron training programs across multiple disciplines.
· Represents 2SOPS Engineering efforts for risks and drafts risks and opportunities through the formal GPS Enterprise Risk Boards · Organizes and leads technical interchange meetings
to determine activities and technical work necessary to support operation.
· Represents 2SOPS Engineering Team and provides technical recommendations and system expertise support to capability Integrated Product Teams. Qualifications Required Qualifications BS in any field with 9 years of previous systems engineering, transition, sustainment, and/or PNT/GPS subject matter expertise, and/or or equivalent relevant experience. · Experience in military and/or space systems operations, transition to operations, acquisition, sustainment, and/or development Active Secret Security Clearance Experience writing and delivering documents and briefings Ability to work onsite daily at Schriever Space Force Base Desired Qualifications · PNT or GPS experience highly desired Experience working with Air Force/Space Force/Do D customers in an acquisition, sustainment, and/or Operational environment, with space and/or ground systems Training/evaluation experience supporting development, instruction, and exercise support TS/SCI Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000.

POSITION LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO Primary Responsibilities What will you do in this role? Serve as Sr. System Administrator and subject matter expert on a team that includes a Project Manager, Network Operations, Cybersecurity and professional services.
Conduct site surveys of data centers to observe conditions and the existing environment (ie. cabling, power, equipment racks, etc) and make recommendations based on project requirements. Interact with customer and coordinate with support teams on systematic enhancements or changes. Conduct design planning and develop
documentation on the new environment - design details/diagrams, materials required, configurations and architecture changes. Provide implementation details and test plans for upgrades or new installations.
Install and configure servers, virtual machines and SQL. Administer Active Directory Services, DHCP, DNS, GPO management. Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Create and update site administration documentation for long-term sustainment. Conduct testing with the customer to verify system functionality and adjust as needed. Monitor, organize, and work collaboratively with Network Operations, Cyber Security, and other Teams to optimize and collaborate solutions.
Provide system and application diagnoses to remediate issues while engaging other teams as needed.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: •Must hold an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's and 6 years of experience or Master's and 4 years of experience in associated field; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Must have Comp TIA Security +CE certification at start date. Must have Server certification (i. e. Azure, Comp TIA Server+, Nutanix) or be able to obtain one in 30 days. Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, GPO's management, Certificate Administration, and Domain Controller Functional services.
Knowledge of security policies and general vulnerabilities management. Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the associated field. Proven knowledge of computer security principles and Do D security protocols. ITIL Foundations Certification.
