This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. Requirements Active DOD-Secret or Interim Secret Security clearance is required Requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience. as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues.
Experience with v Sphere distributed infrastructure for an enterprise Design. What sets you apart? with SAFe agile processes Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes RHEL Development Experience Security+ certification Responsibilities: implementation of VMWare based tools and products such as: v Sphere, VCenter, VROPS, Setup of tools such as VRa, VVols, to name a few; and troubleshoot issues discovered within the environment.
Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of VMware solutions for the system. Support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the migration efforts. Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system.
Assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments. Provide guidance on resource allocation & utilization. Assist engineers with VMware tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have an engineering mindset, and be able to troubleshoot complex problems, seeking to understand virtualized design elements in a dynamic environment. We cannot work with outside agencies of any kind in filling this W2 hourly contract In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the contract hourly range for this role in Colorado is $70 - $79.00/hr W2.
