Office, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). Job duties and responsibilities may include any of the following: Provide technical and acquisition assistance for Programs of record. Participate in Limited Objective Experiments and Exercises to validate system installation, system operation and performance.
Participate in shipchecks, and Review Ship Installation Drawings and As-Built to support system installation and configuration management. Participate in RTSO System Engineering and Program meetings, providing feedback on current status. Verify Installation status in SPIDER. Create and modify as required documents required for installation including
ECOs and SOVTs. Review and manage implementation of hardware engineering changes Participate, as required, in the following: PMW 120 CCB, NAVWAR PTRB, System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), and Process Improvements efforts Schedule and attend system engineering meetings and conferences.
Use operational experience and technical expertise to collaborate with the Functional Team Lead for backssing requirements, designing, executing and developing technical solutions on IO/ISR platforms (afloat and ashore) Assist in development and update of IO/ISR systems technical documentation during system development including but not limited to Concept of Employment, Requirements Traceability
Matrix (RTM), training documents, white papers, and capability backssment reports Support the development and review of engineering and acquisition documentation while adhering to government guidance for strategy, planning, documentation, and implementation Provide support that follows industry standards including integration policies and documentation.
Work proficiently on complex technical problems and seek solutions for consideration. Use your knowledge of systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to help develop, implement, and deploy Systems Engineering and Integration solutions for use on individual programs and throughout the corporation.
Engage with the larger community (Industry, Government, and Academia) to stay up to date with latest trends and emerging technologies, approaches, methods, and techniques to further mature and or increase our capabilities. Work to define system integration onto manned and unmanned vehicles; specifically system interoperability requirements. This will require refinement of system architecture(s) to meet operability needs on manned and unmanned vessels. Conduct system engineering activities based on sound engineering practices, fleet experience and acquisition feasibility. Qualifications Required Education & Experience: US Citizen with a TS/SCI.
Bachelors and 13 years or more experience; 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Understanding of PEO C4I / NAVWAR organization structure, programs of records and mission focus. Familiarity of Po R, DOD, U. S. Navy acquisition documents. Required Skills: TS/SCI clearance Ability to operate both independently and without direct supervision and in a collaborative environment Familiarity of Po R, DOD, U. S. Navy acquisition documents. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include: Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) Desired Skills and Certifications: Experience with operational Navy IO/ISR systems Experience with JCIDS and DODAF highly desired Must be an effective communicator, both written and verbal DAU DOD Acquisition 101 certified Understanding PEO C4I, NAVWAR, US Navy C4I systems Prior Military (Navy) experience. Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
