Mathematics Campus Location: Normal, IL Job Summary Serves as an academic advisor for undergraduate Mathematics majors, including mathematics teacher education majors and actuarial majors; helps resolve registration issues for students in all mathematics courses; assists with department recruitment and retention efforts.

The Mathematics Department houses a bachelor's program and a master's program in mathematics as well as a Ph. D. program in mathematics education. Within the bachelor's program we have majors in General Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Mathematics Teacher Education. There is also a large General Education commitment, serving students from all over campus.

The advisor is expected to be involved in advising for the new Data Science major (as of Fall 2025) until the programs growth warrants its own full-time advisor.

Job Summary This position assists in the research, development, maintenance, and support of the services provided by ION Unified Communications team to Technology Solutions and its customers in accordance with University needs, specifications, and policy and as designated by the immediate supervisor.

The primary focus for this position will be as a systems administrator, having knowledge in the subject areas of mass email communications, proper email authentication methodologies, ability to develop and articulate procedures for safe mail sending.
