Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2 - 4yrs of experience, or a Master's with 0-2 yrs of experience.

Develop system requirements, perform requirements management, perform requirements verification, perform compliance backssments in support of major design reviews, and perform model-based systems engineering using technical planning; system integration, verification and validation.

Responsible for using MBSE and Engineering tools to identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process. We require a systems engineer to assist us in digital transformation of the SSP mission. The selected junior to mid-level applicant will work in the areas of Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), working with

other Arcfield, contractor, and Navy personnel in the development, verification and validation of Navy digital twins.

This role will involve engagement with multi-disciplinary teams innovating new digital engineering solutions over the full system development lifecycle from trade studies to concept and architecture design, to integration, to testing and operation. A successful candidate will be motivated to build deeper expertise in both the core mission domain and underlying digital engineering and MBSE technology. Responsibilities Translate customer needs into system use cases, requirements, architecture, design, and performance modeling Develop systems engineering/design artifacts and documentation Work with subject-matter experts across engineering teams to develop and model the system design using Sys ML Become experienced with MBSE tools such as Cameo, Model Center, and Syndeia Help build an MBSE/Digital Engineering culture on Arcfield programs by contributing to best practices and standards Qualifications Required Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Systems Engineering, or a technical/engineering BS with some systems engineering experience or certificate Understanding of the systems engineering life-cycle process Proficiency with mathematical tools and techniques used to perform systems analysis, trade-off studies, high-level modeling, and risk analysis Broad understanding of systems architecture and its relationship to system design Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance Ability to work independently as well as within Arcfield, contractor, and government teams Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experince or Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
