The Strategy, Planning, and Operations Office also manages organizational initiatives and efforts, including general administrative functions, financial management and budgeting, vendor management and licensing, billing, internal communications, department human resources, talent management, and culture development.
The Organizational Change Management and IT Training team manages organizational change by backssing the effects of technological changes on personnel and processes, devising strategies to minimize disturbance, collaborating with stakeholders on change projects such as communications in support of the enterprise project
management portfolio, and facilitating the acceptance of change to enhance the value of transformative IT endeavors. Furthermore, organize and execute technology training programs for end-users on various applications and systems.
The Manager, IT Training will be responsible for managing a team of instructional designers and training specialists who develop and implement comprehensive trainings to enhance faculty, staff, and student adoption of new technologies or technology-related processes. This will include performing training needs backssments, building training curriculums, role-based training programs, blended learning approaches, and integration in larger OCM programs and measuring
training effectiveness. The Manager, IT Training will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions for university employees during current-to-future state technology transformations (e.
g. system changes, software/hardware enhancements, etc. ). The Manager, IT Training will play a key role in overseeing training initiatives that support employees in effectively utilizing IT applications, systems, and services during organizational changes as well as steady-state operations, and will ensure that training programs are aligned with the university's broader IT strategy as well as customer needs. The Manager, IT Training will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively adopt improvements and changes to technology and business processes in service of the institution's academic mission.
This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students. This role will execute UCLA's vision while upholding UCLA's culture and values. Special Instructions: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes regular visits to campus as needed (for those who work remotely, travel/lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement).
The anticipated pay range for this position is $116,188 - $156,575 annually; salary is dependent upon the skills and experience of the selected finalist.
