Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The Systems Engineer I will initiate design, modifications, and programming applications.

The selected candidate will devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, analyze test results, debug, participate with testing process such as test review/validation and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Develops plans, coordinates work teams and provides technical

support to project team members. Supports engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining of software applications according to the project needs.

Supports all phases of hardware lifecycle management which include evaluating, planning, purchase, deployment, maintenance, recycling of hardware and documentation. Works with preplanning and organizational process teams, as required for the acquisition of new/replacement IT systems. Reviews and analyzes specifications related to software development and hardware integration. Develops design documentation. Supports the management team with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution Supports

multiple projects of varying sizes and technical complexity Evaluates and recommends hardware and software for system enhancements, upgrades and future projects.

Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited school Minimum 5 years’ experience with Intelligence, Surveillance or Reconnaissance (ISR) systems or Test Program Sets (TPS) development required Experience in i ntegration and evaluation of potential software that relates to one or more of the following: Brings new capability or functions Evaluating potential impacts of integrating new Commercial/Government off-the-shelf (COTS/GOTS) modules into the weapon system baseline Providing engineering oversight for the applicable Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance ( ISR) architecture ensuring interoperability between multiple variants of the same systems Conducting requirements analysis Design reviews Supporting documentation Studies Must possess a Do D Top Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI access Strong English language skills (both written and verbal) Preferred: Experience in design and analysis of Computer Information Systems Any experience with an aircraft's weapon systems (i.

e.
