Functional Job (LCAT) Information: The Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer is part of a high-performance team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that will enable VA to achieve the Healthcare Transformation goals and improve Veteran Care.
The Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer will work with a variety of stakeholders to solicit and elaborate functional requirements, develop innovative solutions, implement them and support the end users of these solutions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to gather requirements and create solutions help the VA staff critical medical positions and provide the VA's Office of Healthcare Transformation with analytic insight into all of their program initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. Leverage Power Automate to streamline data processes and workflows. Develop front-end applications using Power Apps and Dataverse tables as the back-end. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing. Ensure all solutions are cloud-ready and optimized for use in Microsoft's Dataverse. Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring the seamless adoption of new technologies.
Keep abreast of latest Microsoft Power Platform updates and trends to ensure the VA is leveraging the best tools available. Contribute to the creation of system documentation and user manuals. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a developer on the Microsoft Power Platforms. In-depth knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and cloud Dataverse ecosystem. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and also execute projects independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Passionate about the mission of serving our veterans and enhancing the VA's healthcare system. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U. POSITION LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO Primary Responsibilities What will you do in this role? Serve as Sr. System Administrator and subject matter expert on a team that includes a Project Manager, Network Operations, Cybersecurity and professional services.
Conduct site surveys of data centers to observe conditions and the existing environment (ie. cabling, power, equipment racks, etc) and make recommendations based on project requirements. Interact with customer and coordinate with support teams on systematic enhancements or changes. Conduct design planning and develop
