and requirements gathering by understanding the product vision and strategic objectives from stakeholders and consumers. Partnering with stakeholders to translate direct user feedback and high-level visionary ideas and needs into actionable new projects, features and enhancements.
Initiating requirements gathering by working closely with software engineers and utilizing the expertise in business analysis. Creating deliverables for all aspects of business analysis, functional design, technical requirements, and visual model development for data migration, system integration, and reporting initiatives. Formulating and applying technical data modeling and other optimizing methods to develop
and interpret data to assist management with decision-making and interpretation and using analytics to further develop and refine the delivery process.
Analyzing the data spread across different internal and customer data collection and management tools including Salesforce, JIRA, MS SQL Server and Qualtrics. Performing in-depth analysis to identify key business risks and opportunities and make recommendations to improve overall profitability and performance. Identifying the source systems and method of data extraction (examples: APIs or database queries) for new tools and process optimization projects. Creating and executing data models to identify and analyze the return-on-investment impacts for the process improvement measures implemented.
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets and reporting findings and making recommendations to company leadership. Contributing insight into strategic and tactical decisions that impact the companys competitive position, product design and operation. Designing reporting assets working with business teams to provide consistent, reliable and automated delivery of data. Supporting team and end-users as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through troubleshooting, recommending solutions and identifying opportunities to solve business problems using data analytics.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Information Systems, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field of study and 5 years of experience as an Information Technology Analyst working with an enterprise system domain including HCM, WFM, ERP or CSM. Must also have 5 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) working with the following: Interpreting business needs and translating them into functional requirements; Multiple SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Kanban; Data management tools including but not limited to Microsoft SQL server, TOAD and Oracle Application Express, Programming using multiple languages including SQL, C, Java and VBScript and SQL and Relational Databases; Developing and implementing technology optimization measures across domains to enhance project performance and generate cost saving through data analysis tools and techniques; Measuring and managing the effectiveness of all stages of project test cycles including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing; Mentoring and training teams and managing project costs.
