Information Systems, or a related field preferred. 4+ years proven experience as a Data Analyst, Database Administrator, Data Engineer, or a similar role, with a focus on data strategy and design. Strong knowledge of data modeling principles, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience working on data-driven projects including data processing, data automation/integration, and data warehousing, data governance, Data Sec Ops Experience in design and delivery of complex and large-scale technical projects Experience as a solution architect providing hands-on business expertise for the end to end design, delivery, and management of hybrid cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) Excellent
customer service skills, and experience communicating technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders Experience in implementing data governance practices and ensuring data security and privacy.
Experience with vendor partnership, software evaluation and selection Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture and design solutions.
Define the data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and data governance principles.
Drive the evolution and data architecture for a scalable and secure data platform Oversee database development and modification efforts. Identify and recommend appropriate data storage technologies, tools, and frameworks to support business needs. Work with outsourced developer partners to design and optimize data warehousing and cloud compute solutions, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and analytics capabilities. Work closely with developers to implement data architecture designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, data consistency, and compliance with data governance policies. Engage with client managers to ensure their future needs and vision are top of mind for a data-driven enterprise Oversee deployment of long-term strategic data products and infusing key data and analytics services in applicable areas of business and IT Work across all areas of the business to implement and oversee proper data hygiene practices, and develop documentation and training materials to maintain data hygiene. Monitor and optimize data processes and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
