parts listings, to include IPB or RPSTL writing, MUST have the ability to read engineering drawings, engineering change notices, and parts lists. Experience with rotor wing publications is a plus. Additional Responsibilities: Provide accurate markups to illustration team for graphic development in accordance with established guidelines, specs, and style and format.
Verify provisioning data for accuracy and provide corrective action recommendations if issues found. Provide technical support, when required, to customers to ensure immediate needs are met. Strong work ethic with great attitude. Willingness to work independently under tight schedule deadlines. Must be willing to lead other
team members and projects at times to ensure schedule is met, while maintaining high quality level. Must be able to provide training to team members when necessary to ensure project requirements are met.
Must be willing to provide technical guidance to junior writers as required to ensure quality and technical standards are met. Requirements for a Senior - Level - IPB/RPSTL Writer: 7+ years of experience Engineering Degree and/or A&P Mechanic's license Preferred! Familiarity or experience with parts databases. Familiarity with all facets of parts listing (indenture levels, SM&R coding, provisioning, etc. ) Familiarity and/or experience with military and commercial specifications (S-1000D,
MIL-STD-40051, etc. ) Familiarity with XML, Adobe apps, SAMS, Xyvision, or similar systems is a plus.
Strong computer and organization skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office applications, desktop publishing systems. Must be willing to multi-task in a fast-paced development environment. Experience with military publications is a plus. IETM and prior experience with XML a plus.
