is responsible for recruitment administration focused on attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent experienced registered nurses, new-to-practice nurses, and advance practice nurses who embrace UNC Health Nash's mission and values. Candidate must have either 3+ years of nurse recruitment experience or 3+ years of registered nurse experience within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities: The Clinical Recruiter will develop and implement a comprehensive nursing recruitment plan in collaboration with Nursing leadership and in alignment with the Talent Acquisition strategic plans. In addition, the Clinical Recruiter integrates a thorough knowledge of human resource management

with expertise in contemporary nursing practices and care delivery systems to design and manage recruitment initiatives that meet current and future staffing needs.

Must have excellent public speaking and written communication skills and exemplify professionalism and enthusiasm. Manages job postings, review of applications, attention to legal aspects of interviewing and EEO principles and completion of Human Resource forms for selecting applicants, in adherence with federal and state employment laws. Partners closely with nursing leaders throughout the organization to both support their recruitment needs and engage them in the recruitment process. Attends career days at area colleges

and universities to recruit for nursing positions. Meets with schools of nursing affiliated with UNC Health Nash and in coordination with the Manager of Organizational Learning to develop/enhance recruitment-related partnerships.

Maintains positive, supportive and enthusiastic communication and dialogue with prospective applicants, nursing students, Hospital staff, and the public at large. Knowledge of and adherence to human resources, hospital and regulatory requirements is critical for this role. Uses data and feedback from nursing applicants to improve the recruitment and hiring experience. Maintains and updates vacancy reports for nursing staff, prepares staffing reports, and tracking of all nursing position numbers throughout the hospital.

Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing creative ideas to retain nursing staff. Adherence to federal and state employment laws. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have either 3+ years of nurse recruitment experience or 3+ years of registered nurse experience within the last 10 years. ADN in Nursing or comparable clinical degree. Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or comparable clinical degree, or Bachelor's degree in an HR-related field. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, employment laws and best practices.
