Purpose: • The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her. Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area. • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair. •Communicate with
parts department to obtain needed parts. • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty. • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required. • Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. • Document work performed. • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician. • Attend factory-sponsored training classes. Qualifications: • PACT training or minimum 2 years Honda/Acura dealership experience required. • High school diploma or the equivalent. • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. •

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible to meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner. Inspect vehicle and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer’s service needs. Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements.
Provide accurate cost and time of completion estimates for the services recommended, communicate and get proper authorization from customers. Check on the progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customers to communicate and receive approval regarding any changes in the cost estimate, promised time of delivery, or recommended services.
Administer new and used vehicle warranty and customer pay repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Inspect vehicles prior to each customer delivery to ensure vehicle services and/or repairs are performed correctly and communicate the results with the customer. Meet requirements of the state and federal law for automobile
