by complying with procedures, rules and regulations4. Follow and initiate 5S standards to maintain work area.5. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specifications6. Layout, design and fabricate metal parts using numerous different tools, equipment and techniques.7.
Welding, cutting, fitting, bending and assembling of metal parts.8. Tack weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)9. Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.10. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.11. Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.12.
All other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: • HS Diploma or equivalent• 1 to 2 years proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment• Related degree from a technical college, a preferred• Meet all Pipe Fitter I Requirements and Skills
