Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas, all conference buildings on property, outsourced business's. Essential Functions: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Valid driver's license to drive to buildings on property Collect garbage and recyclables from common, employee areas and storage rooms. Clean floors using recommended methods Clean windows, dust furniture in public areas Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies in all bathrooms and public areas. Ensure that all requests from guests and other employees are handled in a timely fashion. Clean railings, window and ledges, floors,
mirrors and sweep/vacuum stairs and hallways. Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, public restrooms, office areas, elevator, and stairs. Ensure that all guests are greeted.
Maintain good response time to guest and management requests. Represent the hotel in a positive, professional and friendly manner at all times. Keep work area neat and organized. Maintain safety awareness throughout the housekeeping department. Report all potential safety hazards to a manager immediately. Maintain a good working relationship with all departments. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property employee handbook. Qualifications: Housekeeping/Janitorial and customer service experience
preferred. Knowledge of chemicals. Ability to: Work any day of the week and any hour.

Remove and replace dirty linens and terry, change and make beds Thoroughly clean bathrooms, sinks, fridge, floors etc. Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces/areas according to OSHA regulations and Home Towne's requirements. Communicate with front desk about room information, maintenance cards, lost and found items and any discrepancies between stayovers and checkouts. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Perform self-room inspections and accepting feedback from room quality
inspections performed by hotel management and trained team members.
Cross train in laundry, maintenance and/or front desk job functions, if possible. Performs all other duties as assigned. Experience: 1 year preferred in hotel cleaning or similar experience. 1 year in previous customer service position. Must maintain professional appearance in Hometown's provided uniform. Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas. Must be able to easily and frequently change from one task to another and work with minimal supervision.
