Assumes the responsibility for infection control procedures in resident and administrative areas. Assures the proper usage of housekeeping chemicals. Follows direction of Environmental Service Supervisor in community cleaning schedules. Assumes the responsibility for personal safety. Assumes the responsibility for environmental safety, (i. e. vacuum cords, wet floors, proper storage of chemicals). Prioritizes,
organizes and utilizes time purposefully to assure completion of necessary job duties and responsibilities. Assures proper infection control procedures are adhered to at all times.
Performs duties and responsibilities as assigned by Environmental Service Supervisor. Assures compliance with proper usage of housekeeping chemicals and the storage of it. Assures that optimal housekeeping duties are carried out through proper adherence to policy and procedures established by the Environmental Service Supervisor. Reports problem areas to Environmental Service Supervisor immediately. Assumes full and ultimate responsibility for the quality of housekeeping duties performed within the facility.
Other duties as deemed necessary. Qualifications : High School degree or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc. Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years old. Housekeeper Job Description May be required to work on weekends and holidays. Food Handlers Permit Physical Requirements: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must possess sight/hearing/speech senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Work in all areas of the facility. Is subject to falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc. throughout the workday as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, etc. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) lbs. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents. Maybe exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc. including the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses. Works beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.

a task force that is centrally focused on being a mobile Internal Air Quality Surgical unit. At 16,000 CFMs of vacuum, we cut duct systems open at the CORRECT places and remove decades of harmful particulate accumulation. This is not a portable vacuum the majority of duct cleaning services use.
We do above and beyond the typical service offers (roto brush down the supply vents). We cure the disease, not the symptoms. Our machine is equipped with a compressor-powered whip, 16,000 CFM industrial-rated vacuum, and several hundred feet of hose. This is all enclosed in a 7'x14' trailer. No PTO or complicated operating systems are involved. We can teach anyone to do this job but having at least
an interest in the HVAC trade if not experience, helps greatly. Pay starts at $19 per hour depending on experience. This is also a good opportunity to enter the sales and service side of this industry.
