individual performs the following duties personally or through subordinate workers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Shift Supervisor and fills in when the supervisor of the shift is absent or on his/her days off. Responsible to daily cleanliness of the Casino, This includes cleaning lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways, hallways, office, Event Center and any other facility area.
Assists the Shift supervisor in maintains Daily Logs to ensure that ongoing maintenance of cleanliness, especially in and around the gaming areas. Assists in the evaluating employee performance and disciplinary procedures for staff during his/her assigned shift. Defines and recommends short
and long-term objectives and performance and disciplinary procedures for staff during his/her assigned. Coordinates and maintains appropriate communications with departments to ensure that services are provided efficiently and on a timely manner.
Responsible for departmental compliance with Casino safety standards and objectives. Forecast necessary levels of staffing and stock at different times to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering. Assists in ordering and buying supplies and equipment for Housekeeping department as needed. Ensures that the building is in proper condition to properly function and recommends necessary upgrades. Will also assist in keeping inventory stock to
ensure supplies and equipment is available in adequate amounts and areas.
Holds staff meetings and assists in developing policies and procedures and addressing specific problems. Ensures that all safety standards are met to protect team members, patrons and their personal property. Must adhere to City & State building regulation guidelines as well as ensure compliance with CAL OSHA. Schedules work force to cover needs of casino operations. Ensures that assigned work area is maintained in a safe condition. Must be available to work all given shifts in a 24/7 industry when necessary. This position will require you to work weekends and holidays. Other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); or a minimum of 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
