Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Housekeeper: Sweeps, vacuums, mops, and scrubs floors using industrial vacuum cleaners Sometimes uses ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and polishes light fixtures.
Washes and replaces blinds. Moves furniture, boxes, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as furniture, rugs, drapes, walls and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, dining areas, etc. Launders RN bags and certain equipment,
supplies including rugs. Qualifications: Education/Certification High School Diploma/GED preferred. Experience Previous experience with the use of commercial cleaning equipment preferred.
Experience operating floor equipment such as burnishers, scrubbers and extractors preferred. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
