In addition to the basic requirements above, all applicant must meet the qualification requirements below: GS-05: Applicants must meet one of the following qualification requirements a) possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing with no experience; or b) possession of a diploma or associate degree in professional nursing and one full year of professional nursing experience. GS-07: In addition to the above basic requirements, applicants must meet one of the following requirements a) possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement provision; b) possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-5 grade level); c) possession of a diploma or associate degree in professional nursing and two full years of professional nursing experience; or d) completion of at least one full year of graduate education in a professional nursing educational program.

GS-10: In addition to the above requirements, applicants must meet one of the following requirements a) successful completion of a Ph D or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or related medical science field; or b) at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to the GS-9 grade level) and possession of a diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree from a professional nursing educational program.
