Core Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and exit areas including doors, and windows of all LSI buildings to employees, visitors and vehicles to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and to guard against theft and maintain the safety and security of the premises. Write and submit detailed reports to management of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, safety infractions, unsafe conditions, or unusual occurrences. Follow scripted
protocol to notify appropriate LSI personnel in case of urgent security concerns, such as the presence of unauthorized persons and in case of urgent safety concerns where an immediate hazard may exist.
Call and cooperate with LSI EMR, police, or fire departments in emergency cases. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Use provided communication devices, in a clear and concise manner Perform CPR or first aid when needed Test security systems and, if needed.
