Municipal Utility District is home to 18,000+ residents. Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community.

BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community. At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes. Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal,

part-time, and full-time team members. Security Guard: The Security Guard patrols District property providing security for District facilities during normal business hours or after hours and on weekends and holidays.

This position reports security violations and questionable activities, monitors facilities for damages from vandalism and works varying hours and schedules which include holidays, evenings and weekends. Job Duties: Patrol District properties and facilities by motorized vehicle, bicycle or foot to prevent crimes, enforce rules and protect citizens and property. Report questionable activities and emergencies to the appropriate authority. Report crimes against person or property

in progress, reports crimes that have already occurred; conducts preliminary investigations, gathers and preserves evidence, takes statements.

Cooperate with local, state, and federal law enforcement entities. Enforces District facility use rules and operating hours. Minimum Requirement: Maintain current certification/license, or ability to attain certification/license within 90 days of hire: American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Must be able to work flexible work schedules and irregular hours including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings. Level II Non-Commissioned Officer certification issued by the State of Texas. Minimum one-year experience as a non-commissioned security officer.

Schedule: Full time position - 3 pm to 12 am.
