As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity, observe and reports incidents, and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
Qualifying state employees in the Upward Mobility Program shall have the stated requirements of this classification waived by successful completion of specific proficiency tests and training programs. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of experience working with security requirements and regulations for a public or private organization. Two (2) years of experience working with emergency response procedures including fire safety and controls for a public or private organization. Two (2) years of experience in the use of security enforcement practices and techniques.
Two (2) years of experience providing initial responses to security breaches and safety hazards. Two (2) years of experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
