position oversees the production lines or areas processing poultry products and sanitation of the processing areas. Requires working with, raw and/or cooked poultry products. Current assignments may include line lead for Tenders, Big Bird and Shipping deparments.
Usually works five to six days a week ; overtime may be required based on production needs. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversees work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products. Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters. Ensures that the
qualities of the products are being met according to the product specification of QA and USDA. Ensures that all equipment throughout the departments are running smoothly.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience Requirements Worked a minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years. Experience Preferred Must have lead or supervisory experience in production environment preferred. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed
to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to dust, feathers and all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm. Able to stand for several hours. May or may not require a CDL license. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operates jockey truck transferring trailers to and from the processing area.
The task requires maneuvering in and out of the vehicle up to a height of 4 feet every 1/2 hour. Ensures that trailers are processed in the order designated by management. Ensures that YMS (Yard Management System) is updated and policy followed. Keeping the yard organized and in order. Performs pre-op inspection of vehicle
and post-op cleaning on a daily basis. Yard checks are done periodically. Communicates with the gate, the dock office and management. Must be able to perform the position responsibilities of the forklift operator.
Minimum Education High school or equivalent Experience Requirements Reading and writing skills required. Must have a valid Class D drivers license. Must obtain a forklift license through company training. May require a CDL license. Experience Preferred Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Works outdoors year round in seasonal temperatures with noise exposure of 96.2 db; light intensity of less than 5' candles.
