A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FLEET TECH - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN: Every day as a Fleet Tech - Maintenance Technician at Harmon Scrap Metal is an exciting
and fulfilling adventure. You'll start your day by performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, following manufacturer guidelines to keep our fleet in top shape.
From changing oil and tuning up vehicles to mounting, dismounting, and repairing semi-tires, your expertise will be put to good use. Throughout the day, you'll diagnose and repair malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brakes, lights, belts, tires, and other mechanical components. You'll also ensure that moving parts are well-oiled and lubricated for optimal performance. In addition to your hands-on maintenance duties, you'll maintain a clean and organized shop area, manage inventory, and accurately document all repairs in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a afternoon shift Maintenance Technician at our Tenneplas facility in Pulaski, TN. Maintenance technicians are responsible for performing a wide variety of tooling and maintenance functions requiring knowledge of manufacturing procedures, practices and standards for production tool maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician: Maintain
preventative tooling maintenance programs and overall maintenance of our tooling systems and procedures. Ability to trouble shoot electrical equipment, hydraulics, mechanical and tooling.
Ability to repair and replace components. Assist Tooling Engineer, as needed, with all tooling maintenance. Locates and secures local tool sources for tool and spare component requirements Maintains storage for spare components for hot runner systems. Request quotes and issue purchase orders for local tooling repair.
