Job Summary Responsible for the production
and facilities needs in upkeep, repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial machinery equipment. Production and facility corrective and preventive maintenance of varied and complex building systems and equipment.
Scope of work includes but is not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems of manufacturing and distribution centers. Responsibilities · Assists with operating, maintaining, and repairing all building systems and equipment. · Perform service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with minimal disruption and inconvenience to the area. · Monitor the operation of electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility and
its critical operations. · Responsible for using tools and equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring each tool is maintained and stored correctly.
· Assist with construction and repair projects as assigned. · Monitor and ensure efficient operation of all building systems and equipment. · Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. · Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts. · Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts. · Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, on machinery. · Align and balance new equipment after installation.
· Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments. · Maintain and repair all production line equipment as needed. · Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts for all equipment. · Ensure proper use, application, and disposal of all products and equipment used in performing duties. · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. · Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience · Highschool diploma. · Two years advanced technical or related training. · Certifications in any maintenance systems are a plus. Technical skills · Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC (programmable logic controller) systems. · Knowledge of equipment corrective and prevenative maintenance. · Basic knowledge in - HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. · Able to read, comprehend and understand information and ideas presented in writing or in alternative form. · Knowledge of mechanics.
· Manual dexterity to manipulate objects and tools with precision and accuracy. Additional Notes · The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees within the TAB. · The ability to read and interpret any document related to the function of jobs. · Prior experience with co packing & industrial sewing machines is a plus. · Must pass background & drug screen. · Verifiable documentation of ability to work in the US. Communication & Contacts Required · Ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, clients, and vendors, who may require the services of industrial maintenance technicians as well as with other technicians, engineers, and managers, and to document and report the results of the repairs.
