a Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the community. You will lead a team of maintenance service team members and ensure that the property is well-maintained, safe, and attractive for residents.
Primary Responsibilities Provides effective leadership to a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Fosters a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensures a preventative maintenance plan is followed which includes schedules, inspections, and repairs. Ensures that maintenance activities are conducted
efficiently, promptly, and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Conducts regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues. Develops strategies to address identified problems and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assigns tasks to maintenance service team members and ensures timely completion of service requests. Ensures apartment homes are made ready for upcoming new residents. Qualifications & Experience HVAC certification required. Certified Apartment Maintenance Tech (CAMT) in a plus. 3 or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
