POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for general cleaning, light maintenance, and groundskeeping of all agency facilities. Hours will be 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES Cleaning Duties Follow the cleaning schedule and checklist for assigned area. Floor Care - vacuuming, mopping, carpet spot cleaning, auto scrubbing, buffing Surface care - dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning,

metal/wood polishing, clean blinds Waste removal - empty trash bins, transport trash to proper disposal areas Maintain a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others.

Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment. General Maintenance Report maintenance concerns to Supervisor in timely manner. Make repairs and improvements as needed. Replace burned out light bulbs, including Emergency Exit lights. Strip and wax floors yearly or as directed. Pick up and remove trash and debris from the property and dispose of it. Maintain landscape and garden areas by trimming trees and bushes and picking weeds. Remove snow from sidewalks and apply salt/calcium when needed

to walkways. Secure Buildings Secure the facilities, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.

Ensure security of company assets. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Review and recommend improvements to processes associated with areas of responsibility. Participate in staff meetings, conferences, training sessions and workshops as assigned. Demonstrate familiarity with policies, performance standards and the agency's Mission, Vision and Core Values. Be a contributory team member in a positive/productive manner. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of one year of experience in custodial services preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies is required.

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment with a diverse group of people. Ability to manage multiple projects and see them through to completion.
