The selected candidate shall be able to handle small repairs for the assigned buildings. This position is full time 5 days a week for 8 hours each day Monday through Friday and after hours support for emergencies. The daily responsibilities for the buildings assigned include but not limited to: o Responsible for handyman type of repairso Perform weekly quality control for facility related issues/deficiencies and keep a log of daily reporto Identify pro-actively safety issues related to the site/buildingso Report findings to Regional Manager Facilities Improvements once a weeko Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets by using multiple craft skills(ex.
Plumbing, electrical,
carpentry) and using hand tools, power tools and other equipment as needed to complete taskso Manage work order management platformo Responsible handling all daily work orders and providing prompt responses on status to users.
This will require a documentation of the repair activities and closeout of work orderso Coordinate the winterization of vacant building as neededo Coordinate contracted 3rd party vendors as needed for repairso Monitor 3rd party vendor service levels for completion and qualityo Perform miscellaneous facility services as directedo Perform meter reading for all utilitieso Develop an access control program for keys and security cardso Contact local and on-site police
for any emergencies as neededo Able to respond to emergencies within one hour · Key Skills and Experience o Previous experience in facility management repairso Able to communicate effectively to internal customerso Able to coordinate work with 3rd part contractorso Able to multitasko Able to troubleshoot with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillso Basic level knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systemso Safety champion, able to work aloneo Ability to climb and work at heightso Ability to walk the siteo Preferably some knowledge of roofing systems PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must Be Able To Lift 20+ pounds Regularly Every Day, Bend, Stretch, Stand For Extended Periods Of Time, Climb Stairs, Climb A Ladder, Reach, Twist, Sit, Walk and squat.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must Have Valid Driver’s LicenseMinimum Of (3 to 5) Years Of Experience Is Required. Organization Skills Are a MustCompany Vehicle and Company Gas Card Will Be Provided During Work Hours. Tools and materials also provided. NOTE: Must be authorized to work in the US.
