DUTIES: Clean and prepare equipment for inspection; make periodic inspections of all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems as established by the facility operational procedures; repair or replace broken or worn machinery parts. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing comprehensive preventive maintenance procedures.
Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested, and completing work orders per instruction. Adjust equipment and systems with a view toward conserving energy.
Responsible for all water treatment equipment, chemicals, and tests Maintain operating logs on all equipment; record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences. Perform all duties in a safe manner, follow all safety procedures, and maintain a clean work area. Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Must be flexible in work schedule to work weekends
when needed. Willingly perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and change business practices Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent. Three to five years of experience. Preferred maintenance experience in one of the following trades or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience: Industrial Facility Maintenance, Industrial HVAC/ Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair, or Automotive Repair. Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. Additional Information: Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test.
This position may require a valid Driver's License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location. This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules. Physical Requirements: Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.
Requires the ability to climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs as needed during a workday. Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, reach/stretch, and move in a 90-degree fashion during the workday. Requires ability to read and understand the information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access databases, to send/receive messages, and to prepare documents. Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other U.

Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full office suite. Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. Special Requirements: Wear composite toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of drywall, patch, and paint. Knowledge of electronic door locking mechanisms. Knowledge of facility mechanical systems such as heating and ventilation, plumbing, and conveyors, and reverse osmosis systems. Knowledge of machinery and equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, supply and exhaust fans, power transmission components, cranes, hoists.
Experience in operations and maintenance in an industrial, large commercial, or logistics distribution environment. High attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Friendly, cooperative, customer service-minded attitude; team player. Ability to work with little or no direction at times. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including applying proper safety practices and following procedures while performing maintenance tasks. Other Attributes: Must be willing to work overtime when required.
