The details: This position is for a maintenance technician. Western Filament is a leading manufacturer of braided strings used in a magnitude of applications. This is made possible by running thousands of machines 24 hours a day and setting high expectations for quality. Technicians must have strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and correctly repair/maintain machines they have likely never seen before. Minimum Job Requirements Be able to stand on concrete floors for up to 3.5 hrs between breaks Be able to lift 40 pounds regularly Machine troubleshooting and diagnosis skills are a must Be able to work around loud equipment, wearing provided hearing protection Must adhere to company attendance and safety policies Be willing to wear a hair net or hat if needed No loose clothing (example: hoodie strings) Be willing to get dirty Work around various safe limit odors (solvents, coatings, lubricants, etc.
