Minimum 3 years of experience in operation of vehicles and light to medium equipment. Minimum 3 years of experience in parks maintenance or other related maintenance preferred. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Special Requirements: Must be certified in CPR/First Aid within one year of employment.
Must be able to lift weights of one hundred pounds. Must be able to obtain State of Texas Class " A" Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of employment. Must be able to obtain NRPA Certified Playground Safety Inspector certification within 18 months of employment. construction and repair techniques Knowledge of horticultural principles Knowledge of sports field preparation techniques Knowledge of street maintenance, drainage construction, etc.
