Partner with the best As a Lead Services Engineer, you'll be responsible for conducting research, design, and development on a wide range of projects from conception to field deployment. The assignments are broad, requiring originality and ingenuity, and there'll be opportunities to lead projects. You'll play a key role in solving problems and making sound design recommendations for
our customers. As a Lead Services Engineer, you will be responsible for: Conducting design development of mechanical components and systems, leading the activities from conceptual and detailing to the release of drawings and bills of material into engineering systems.
Perform stress calculations for mechanical components. Elaborating engineering documentation, capturing properly design inputs and requirements, and making sure it adheres to customers' specifications and internal procedures. Supporting the execution phase as a focal point for workshops and vendors. Selecting engineering techniques to solve problems, make recommendations and backss results for applicability, validity, and
conformance. Taking ownership of significant portions of large projects or leading on a smaller project, supervising junior engineers and designers.
Optimizing for performance, reliability and cost targets whilst adhering to Baker Hughes and regulatory standards Conducting repair dispositions and support execution related to refurbishment and upgrade scopes. Delivering work scope as part of a team. Works on cross-functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods. Supporting ITO during tender execution phase, being the engineering resource responsible for evaluating technical documentation and aligning the scope of work and needs with necessary levels inside the company.
Additionally, issue the technical proposal. Developing and optimizing productive processes meeting safety, quality, and productivity Leading/participating in investigations (RCA, NCA e CIR)Being part of the onshore team supporting offshore field operations. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will: Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience Be able to show significant experience in an engineering role and demonstrate good technical knowledge. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work individually and within a team Have an expert understanding of design development methodology.
Show solid problem-solving skills, with a focus on actions, results and adding value for customers Have a good working knowledge of CAD systems and analysis applications. Be proficient in MS Office. Show the ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities. Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment. Desired qualifications: Solid oral and written communication skills. Solid interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently. Solid problem-solving skills. Experience with Subsea Production Systems, Riser Tensioners, Tension Joints, Connectors, Christmas Trees, Manifolds, and Wellheads.
