Overview: The Data and Personalization Specialist plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative digital marketing strategies for our customers across a multitude of industries. This role focuses on partnering with Marketing Cloud Solutions Engineering & Architect teams, to lend deep expertise during sales cycles. The Specialist will also partner with Account Executives & Solutions to prioritize and identify opportunities
for growth across Open Pipeline & the product's key capabilities.

Responsibilities: As a Data and Personalization Specialist within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you will: Solve Business Problems - Take ambiguous and complex business problems and, using research and business backssment capabilities, define the problem, drive innovative ideas, define the opportunity set, and recommend actionable next steps.
Drive Innovation - Bring rigor to a client's decision making process by presenting and evaluating solution options, and driving consensus among key stakeholders. In some instances, we help our clients develop new decision frameworks and governance processes that continue to deliver value far beyond a particular engagement.
Connect the " Art of the Possible" - Assist Solutions Engineers with delivery of software demos, rapid prototyping, and storytelling to show how connected experiences come to life with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data & Personalization products. This includes the delivery of executive level software demonstrations, construction of future state customer journey strategies, and developing long term IT roadmaps. Cross Platform Collaboration- As a Specialist, you will take your understanding of multiple landscapes (Personalization, Ad Tech, Mar Tech, CRM, Segmentation, Real-Time Decisioning), and develop solutions across Salesforce's technology stack to create the most robust & effective offering for prospective clients.

It is important to realize that a component of the responsibilities will include assisting the customer, Account Executive and Professional Services team with the discovery, analysis and ultimately the recommendation of strategic solutions for the customer. These Solutions will leverage the Marketing Cloud technology to address the core marketing challenges and objectives that are uniquely identified for each customer. Required Qualifications: 5+ years experience in solutions engineering/solutions architecture/technical consulting role ideally in the Saa S space Experience with Personalization Platforms as an SE or a Client of the software Exposure to and interest in CDP technologies Excellent communication and presentation skills; dynamic (persuasive) in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clients from Individual Contributor to C-level Understanding & ability to articulate the interplay between Marketing, Advertising, and Customer relationship management Experience with an ESP or Marketing Technology Platform Preferred Requirements: B.
S.
